Dr. Grandey tries to practice what she researches in terms of balancing work and family and taking care of herself by running, yoga, theatre, traveling, and reading books just for fun.

Tayana Rich

Tayana joined Penn State’s Industrial/Organizational Psychology doctoral program and the WELD lab in 2022. Living in Florida for all of her life, Tayana graduated with her B.S in Psychology from the University of Central Florida in Orlando where she completed her undergraduate thesis researching Racial Identity and coping with microaggressions in emerging adults. Her research interests surround diversity and underrepresented groups’ experience in the workplace and how organizations can improve those experiences. In her leisure, Tayana likes to crochet amigurumi plushies and watch/ read Psychological thrillers and murder mysteries.
Dr. Grandey

Didar Zeytun

Didar joined Penn State University, Industrial/Organizational Psychology doctoral program and WELD Lab in 2022. Previously, she has worked at multinational companies for five years and then back to graduate school in 2018 where she received her master’s degree in IO psychology from Koç University, Turkey in 2021. During her master’s studies, she managed Leadership Lab for three years where she mainly investigated the dyadic relationship between leaders and subordinates while leading and assisting number of research-oriented consultancy projects. Didar is interested in emotion regulation, stress, and their health implications at work with a primary focus on women. Besides her academic pursuit, she enjoys running, playing with her dog and cat, and exploring the world of food.
Hannah Stockdale

Hannah Stockdale

Hannah joined Penn State’s I-O program in 2021. Before coming to Penn State, she graduated from The University of Georgia with a B.S in Psychology. Her research interests include diversity & inclusion, workplace mistreatment (specifically sexual harassment) and allyship. In her free time, she enjoys running, reading thriller novels, playing with her cat, and spending time with friends at Happy Valley Brewing Company!

Cristina Gonzalez

Cristina joined Penn State’s Industrial/Organizational Psychology doctoral program and WELD in 2020. She completed her B.S. in Psychology from The University of Georgia (go dawgs!). Her Master’s thesis topic involved turnover intentions in the service industry during the time of COVID-19. Broadly, Cristina’s research interests include topics such as emotion regulation, stress, health outcomes, and service industry work. In her free time, Cristina enjoys exercising, playing video games, and making dessert.

Kayley Morris

Kayley joined the Industrial/Organizational Psychology doctoral program and the WELD Lab in 2020. Living most of her life in Kansas City, Missouri, she completed her B.A. in psychology and communications at the University of Missouri Kansas City in 2019. After completing her B.A., she worked for Sprint on their Employee Experience and Engagement Team and did consulting work for non-profits. Broadly, her research interests include stigma and diversity. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and cat, hiking, and weightlifting.
